Mix Head Repair

MHR’s service department can repair straight style mix heads, L-Style mix heads, and chemical metering pumps. We service many types of mix heads & pumps including: our own Tri-Tilt’s, Cannon, Hi-Tech, Konal, EMB, Hennecke, Kauris Maffei, Linden, DUT and Rexroth pumps.

Before After

Does your straight or L-Style mix head drip into the mold, or cross-over contaminating the chemical return lines, day tank or hydraulic fluid lines? Does the plunger stick and refuse to shift?

Then we ask that you send it to MHR, the mix head repair specialist. MHR will repair any Reaction Injection Molding (RIM), Structural Reaction Injection Molding (SRIM) or Reinforced Reaction Injection Molding (RRIM) mix head. All mix heads received are disassembled, cleaned and worn parts inspected free of charge. Promptly within five working days you will receive a faxed quote for the repair of your mix head. All repairs at MHR are done by competent personnel with nearly 100 years of combined mixhead repair and polyurethane processing experience. Our nearly 10,000 square foot facility houses our design and development department, precision inspection instrumentation, machine shop and hydraulic test stand. These resources allow MHR to provide the ultimate repairs necessary to meet the longevity required for today’s production standards and have made us a leader in the Reaction Injection Molding industry.

Chemical Pump Repair

MHR’s trained and experienced technicians have the knowledge, experience and tools to insure your chemical metering pumps are cleaned and rebuilt correctly the first time. Our staff receives and quickly inspects your Rexroth pump upon its arrival at MHR and provides you with a quote. MHR’s standard chemical metering pump repair provides for a complete cleaning of the pump to remove all residual chemical inside and out, lap the swash and control plates to a polished finish, then reassemble pump with new factory seals and bearings, pressure test pump on our test stand to ensure that pump maintains a constant pressure over a standard period of time. MHR uses a non-reactive fluid medium to ensure that when your pump is put into service, the chemicals don’t react with the residual fluid still inside the pump. As opposed to other repair houses that use hydraulic oil for their fluid on their tests stands.

MHR carries a large variety of seal kits for all the different sized displacements of Rotary Power and Rexroth Chemical Metering Pumps. MHR also maintains an inventory of bearings for the different Rexroth pump sizes. Individual component parts are hit and miss – certainly worthy of a call to find out.

Mix Head Repair Warranty

All repairs are warranted for 30,000 shots or 30 days or 180 days from ship date, whichever comes first. The warranty covers only defective workmanship and or parts/seals replaced by MHR. Disassembly of the mix head by non-MHR personnel voids the warranty. Mix Heads should be returned to MHR at customer’s expense for warranty evaluation. Customer’s exclusive remedy is limited to correction of defect by repair or replacement at MHR’s option. In no event shall MHR be liable for loss of profits, indirect, special or consequential damages for any cause. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied, with no exceptions allowed.
